AYALOIK

Ayaloik was created collaboration with Sara Ayala for the Creative Textile Marathon at La Casa Encendida in November 2020. The project consisted of recycling and giving disused garments a second chance. To do this, we were searching for garments made of natural fabrics (cotton and linen). The idea was to recreate a set using traditional techniques such as sashiko, pogaji or patchwork and create a design that was genderless and oversize, with oriental lines.
